The department’s official liaison to the UW Graduate School. Responsible for oversight of all degree programs and final approval for all student program changes. Assists students and faculty with technical pieces of the graduate program such as policies and formal procedures. Oversees academic progress for all graduate students including annual reviews. Coordinates student funding including teaching and research assistantships, work study, GO-MAP, Top Scholar and other awards. Manages other key program activities such as accreditation, program reviews and changes, and prospective student diversity and recruitment.

Oversees the day-to-day administration of the department’s six degree programs, including the application of University and Department policies and procedures. Manages the student services staff and the work they do in supporting the academic programs, faculty and students. Serves as the department’s liaison with Professional & Continuing Education (PCE), overseeing all fee-based degree administration. Serves as the Department’s Curriculum Coordinator and liaison with the UW Curriculum Committee. Liaison to the UW Attorney General’s Office for department’s clinical affiliation agreements. Oversight of compliance requirements for the clinical degree programs. Coordinates all marketing plans and activities, and oversees assessment/outcome data collection for the degree programs. Supports accreditation and program review activities.
