How to Apply to both the Core SLP and MedSLP Programs

If you are interested in both programs, please indicate this on the departmental application. You will be asked to state a preference for the Core or MedSLP program, but your application will be considered by both committees.

undecided or equally interested in both programs, you may apply to both. To avoid unnecessary duplication of effort you should simply send an email to medslpad@u.washington.edu stating your intention to apply to both programs and which program you would prefer.

Secondly, you need to fill out the departmental application for the Core SLP program and the UW Graduate School application. Do not fill out the MedSLP application if you are applying to both the Core SLP and MedSLP programs.

By filling out the Core SLP Masters Application and by sending an email to the address listed above, your intention to apply to both programs will be clear. You will only need to have one set of recommendations sent and you will only to apply to the UW Graduate School once.
