Speech & Hearing Sciences Recognition Celebration
The Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences will hold its Annual Recognition Celebration Saturday, June 9, 2012, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM in Kane Hall 130 on the UW campus. The SPHSC Annual Recognition Ceremony is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the many accomplishments of each of our graduating students and honoring one of our distinguished alumnae. It is a separate event from the University’s commencement exercises.
SPHSC students, faculty and staff are invited to attend this special event. In addition, each graduating student is welcome to invite family and friends to join in the celebration. The event is sponsored by the department and is provided at no cost to those who attend. Each graduating student will be given six guest tickets for the event with tickets available starting on Monday, May 21st. Students who need additional guest tickets are invited to contact graduating classmates, as not every student will use their guest tickets.
Graduating students who wish to participate in the ceremony must register for the ceremony by May 21st. This will ensure that you will be included in the ceremony. To register, please log on to the following URL: https://catalysttools.washington.edu/webq/survey/nalarcon/37543 It should only take you 5 minutes to complete this information. We are also asking you to send us up to 3 pictures and special messages to share with family, which we will include in a video during the ceremony. You will find additional information and directions when you register. In addition, the survey includes a request to let us know if you or family and friends need special accommodation to attend our ceremony.
Faculty, Staff and Continuing SPHSC Students are asked to RSVP via the following URL: https://catalysttools.washington.edu/webq/survey/nalarcon/37542
As a special note, our graduates do not wear caps and gowns for this SPHSC Annual Recognition Ceremony. Much more detailed information regarding the ceremony, arrival time for graduating students, etc., will be sent out in the next several weeks. We look forward to you joining us for this special event. Should you have questions, please direct them to Nancy Alarcon or Gabrielle Gruber.
