Research
Faculty research is conducted across
the life span, including child and adult, hearing, speech
and language development and disorders.
Graduate Research
Graduate students participate
in research with faculty as paid assistants and volunteers,
and as they conduct their own research for the master’s
degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Thesis Option), Doctorate
of Audiology (Thesis Option) and Doctorate
of Philosophy.
Undergraduate Research
Students are engaged in research at
many levels. We encourage undergraduate students to volunteer
for research. Qualifying undergraduates participate in the
Undergraduate Honors Program.
Student research becomes a fundamental part
of students’ programs
as they learn state-of-the-art information about the discipline
of communication sciences and disorders, and the professions
of speech-language pathology and audiology.
Research Training Program
The Research Training Program in Speech and Hearing Sciences is an interdisciplinary program for predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees in communication sciences and disorders and allied fields. View details.
