- The SPHSC major is designed to take six quarters beginning with Autumn quarter of junior year. SPHSC accepts students every quarter but acceptance in any quarter other than Autumn (by Junior Year) may delay graduation.
- Suggested introductory coursework includes Linguistics, Physiology (BIOL 118), Introduction to Psychology (PSYCH 101), Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Math.
- All students are required to successfully complete a core set of SPHSC classes, generally in the first three quarters of junior year.

| Additional Requirements |
SPHSC majors are required to fulfill University of Washington and the College of Arts and Sciences requirements for graduation, www.washington.edu/students. Students continuing on to a clinical master's degree program should complete 25 hours of documented clinical observation supervised by a certified clinician before starting graduate study.
