Labs are graded high-pass/pass/fail. Lab assignments receive 4/7 point if completed with a high-pass grade, making a total of 4.0 if all are completed with a high-pass grade. Lab assignments receive 3/7 point if completed with a pass grade, making a total of 3.0 if all are completed with a pass grade. If the lab is not completed or if the assignment is not completed satisfactorly, no credit will be given. Make-up labs are generally not given.

Credit for TurningPoint participation: It is expected that TurningPoint questions will be included in the lectures on 28 days, beginning on April 7. To pass this course, participation is required on at least half (14) of these days. Students who participate on 75% (21) of these days will receive .1 grade point extra credit. Students who participate on at least 26 days will receive .2 grade point extra credit.

The course organization is a little different from that in previous years. For that reason, exam dates are a little uncertain. As far as possible, exams will be given on the scheduled dates, but it is possible that they will be 1-2 days earlier or later than scheduled
