| Goal: | The goal of this site is to provide support to Maureen Munn and various high school teachers in effectively instructing the high school students during DNA synthesis and sequencing laboratories. | |
Hours per week: |
Visit site in two hour intervals, time of service varies with each high school and occurs between 7:30AM and 2:30PM. Because it is necessary to work within school schedules it is important that your schedule be flexible and have some large (at lest three hours) blocks of time available for site visits. |

SSL students aid high school teachers in directing their students in two experiments, DNA synthesis and DNA sequencing. You will also give students an idea of what the Human Genome project can do. |
