The School of Social Work Office of Advancement strives to successfully promote involvement and financial support from our alumni, faculty, staff, and friends to advance the mission of the School. By working directly with students, alumni, faculty, deans, and volunteers, our office acts as a bridge in establishing meaningful relationships with our stakeholders toward supporting and creating futures — for future social workers, our community, and our world. Our office also partners with UW Alumni Association (UWAA) in the Husky Career Network, a mentoring program that matches students and recent alumni with professionals in the community. UWAA offers benefits such as reduced admission to Alumni Association events, borrowing privileges at the University’s libraries, University Book Store patronage refunds, and discounts on continuing education courses, lectures, and the performing art series.
