Computing and Media Services have been combined and reorganized in order to better facilitate the incorporation of technology into teaching, learning and research within the School. Both the Computer Lab and the Media Lab offer equipment and provide services in support of digital media creation and website development by students, faculty and staff for instructional, training, research and other purposes.
We Aim To:
- Support innovative uses of technology in higher education.
- Foster the use of digital media and technology to support progressive and radical social work values, including social justice issues, and the eradication of racism, poverty and inequality in any form. Please see our website on Technology in Support of Social Work Values: Digital Social Work Activism.
- Serve students, staff and faculty in incorporating the use of technology into their instructional, course, administrative and learning work.
- Foster an atmosphere and attitude of life-long learning.
The Computer Lab provides equipment and services for website creation and incorporating technology into teaching and learning.
