Computer Lab

Room 18, SSW Building, 206-685-2295:

Our Computer Lab has 22 Windows workstations, 1 laser printers, and a scanner.

Students, faculty and staff use the Lab in class and outside of class to learn how to produce websites, write papers, carry out class assignments, communicate via email, conduct data analyses and access library resources. Windows software is available for word processing, statistics, spreadsheets, and database management. We have a variety of graphics and webcreation software programs as well.

Monday-Friday, 8am-9pm
Saturday: 8am-5pm

Media Center Catalog - ssw community only

Media Lab Hours (or by appointment):

Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays: 9am-12noon, 1pm-5pm.
Wednesdays, Thursdays: 1pm-5pm, 6pm-9pm.

Media Lab staff offer reservations and setup of media equipment (various audio-visual and video equipment such as video projectors, LCD displays, Laser discs, amplifiers, speaker systems, still and motion picture projectors, video and audio tape records, video cameras, multi-media computers and monitors), media materials, and rental materials for course support.

Media Lab staff also offer support in the production of media materials, such as making audio/video recordings in online streaming format, photographs, computerized presentations, and instructional documentation in support of classroom instruction, institutional promotion, and special events. This includes using digital and analog editing equipment/software and web programming software to create, maintain, and develop websites and paper-based programs, guides, course material, brochures and other materials.
