GeroRich Projects

  • GeroRich presented at the 2003 Annual Conference of the Washington State Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers in a special gerontology breakfast event showcasing the accomplishments and goals of GeroRich as well as the development of the Institute for Multigenerational Health, Development, and Equality.

    Two MSW students presented their outstanding papers during the breakfast event. Gretchen Langmaid described the Mayor's Office for Senior Citizens' resources that promote successful aging and Pei-Ning Chang described cross-cultural aspects of successful aging. The event was well-received with 30 plus attending at a very early hour -- 7:00am!

  • GeroRich was pleased to present seven $500.00 scholarships to MSW students committed to gerontology and/or multigenerational practice in their foundation year practicum placements. The following students were selected for the awards:
