Two Doctoral Students Named Blalock Fellows

Two of the School's doctoral students, JoAnn Lee and Mark Williams, have been named Blalock Fellows by the UW Center for Statistics and the Social Sciences (CSSS). Blalock Fellowships are one-time awards for incoming graduate students in departments with CSSS-sponsored statistics tracks, minors, or concentrations. Candidates are nominated by their respective schools or departments, and the awards are determined by the CSSS Graduate Committee. This is the first time that School of Social Work students have been awarded Blalock Fellowships.
