Taryn Lindhorst Elected SSW Ombudsman

Taryn Lindhorst, Associate Professor, has been elected as the SSW Ombudsman for a two-year term, from July 2008 through June 2010.

Taryn is available to accept academic and non-academic complaints from BASW, MSW, and PhD students. Academic concerns may include issues such as instructional methods, classroom interaction patterns, and grading procedures. Non-academic concerns may include issues such as perceptions of discrimination and unfair treatment.She is also available to faculty and staff to mediate their concerns.

The Ombudsman role is that of mediator, and confidentiality is assured. You are encouraged to contact Taryn to discuss any issues about which you are concerned.
