Diana Pearce and Jennifer Romich Comment on Poverty Rate in Snohomish County

Diana Pearce, Senior Lecturer, and Jennifer Romich, Assistant Professor (both on the social welfare doctoral faculty), were quoted extensively in a recent Everett Herald article about poverty rates in Snohomish County. They explain that the poverty rate does not reflect the reality of what it costs families to live self-sufficiently in this region.
