Resources for Practicum Instructors
Practicum Instructors make an invaluable contribution to the education of social
work students. The opportunity to learn beside
an experienced social worker in the field enables
students to develop professional skills and to
integrate theory and practice.
LIBRARY CARDS
To help provide resources for instruction, all
Practicum Instructors are eligible to receive
courtesy University of Washington library cards.
A list of current instructors is sent to the library
by the end of the third week of each quarter.
To arrange for a card, instructors must contact the Library Cashier located on the 1st Floor Level of the Suzzallo Library. The Library Cashier's hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. To make other arrangements, contact the Library Cashier at 206-543-1174.
Remote electronic access to the UW Library system
is not currently available, but is being explored
for instructors in the Extended Degree program
who live at a distance from the Tacoma or Seattle
campuses.
