UW Tacoma Program

The MSW program offered at the University of Washington, Tacoma is an accredited program option of the School of Social Work developed primarily to serve the needs of place-bound students in the south Puget Sound region. The Tacoma program offers a three-year part-time evening MSW program and Advanced Standing MSW Program.

Courses meet one or two evenings per week along with required practicum components. After the professional foundation curriculum is completed (three-year MSW only), an advanced curriculum in children, youth, and families (CYF) is offered.

Application to the Tacoma program is made directly to the program using a separate application packet. All application materials are available online.
