The QT Group is an informal network of Puget Sound area professionals
engaged in applied research in public health and social service
issues. We formed in 1997 with the goals of promoting peer consultation,
sharing information, networking, and enhancing qualitative research.
We meet every other month for the presentation and discussion of
qualitative work by local researchers. A new feature of the QT group
is our listserv to extend discussions beyond our regular meetings
and to share information about job openings, journal articles, and
events of interest. There are no membership requirements beyond
an interest in qualitative research methods and their application
and a willingness to participate in the planning and facilitation
of QT meetings and events.
