RUPP Social Work Faculty
Mara Schneiders
Mara Schneiders, an Australian Volunteers International (AVI) volunteer, recently arrived in Phnom Penh to begin her 18-month volunteership at RUPP to help the new Social Work Department set up policies and procedures for field placement. Mara's first task is to work with Dalin Meng, MSW ’08, to hire a local practicum and community service learning coordinator. We're excited to have Mara join our RUPP team, especially given her work experience as placement coordinator of field education for the School of Sociology and Social Work at the University of Tasmania. Mara has worked a number years in the area of domestic violence. In addition to her BASW, she has a master's degree in women's studies.
