My research focuses on using time-resolved electron paramagnetic resonance (trEPR) spectroscopy and laser-induced pulse EPR spectroscopy to investigate the use of cryptochrome proteins as protein-based qubits. Characterizing the spin coherence and dephasing mechanisms of these proteins is important for engineering a protein-based qubit with extended coherence. I am also interested in increasing sensitivity of EPR spectroscopy in studying these protein-based qubit systems.
