Pediatric Surgery Externship at Seattle Children's
- Gain exposure to surgical conditions peculiar to the youth age group with a preponderance of various congenital and neoplastic conditions.
- Participate in patient care (including diagnosis, preoperative and postoperative care)
- Further develop knowledge of surgical disease and enhance the ability to manage comprehensively the problems encountered in pediatric patients.

- whether you have completed an Orders Online (CPOE) classroom or web-based training class at Children's

PLEASE NOTE: All medical students are required to complete the CPOE web-based training prior to the start of their elective at Children's Hospital. Patient contact is not allowed until CPOE training and all required paperwork in Children's GME office has been completed.
