Whitman College is a small liberal arts college located in Walla Walla, Washington. There are 1,350 students on campus, and 92% of the classes have 30 students or less in them. The most popular majors at Whitman are biology, English, politics, history and psychology. Pre-med and pre-law programs are also offered. Students are required to live on campus the first 2 years at Whitman, and all residence halls are connected to the ethernet. If you don't have your own computer, PC and Macs are available 24 hours a day in the library and computer lab. Laser printing is free, as is student parking on Whitman's campus. Eighty six percent of Whitman students graduate in 4 years, and 1/5 of all students complete professional level research by the time they graduate. Professors at Whitman are easily accessible and sometimes even hold classes in their private homes!
