November 7, 2008. Josh Tenenberg made the following proposal for the review of any faculty member who needs to be reviewed during autumn, 2008. Hanks seconded this proposal, and it was adopted unanomously. The review will involve the following documents, which will be provided to all voting faculty prior to any vote to renew: 1. A one page statement by the candidate being reviewed that summarizes their teaching and service at UWT for the current academic year. This page should also include a discussion of their plans for teaching and service for the balance of the academic year and beyond. 2. The candidate's current CV. 3. All course materials that are handed out to students that have been developed to date for all courses taught (i.e. syllabus, assignments, labs, exams, etc) for the current academic year. 4. An observation report from a classroom observation carried out by a faculty member chosen by the Director with consultation from the candidate. The observation will be carried out using the "Classroom Observation" process as specified in the attached v1#4 issue of the CIDR Teaching and Learning Bulletin.
