Bio:  
Valerie completed her PhD in Neurosciences in Bordeaux, France, where she also taught pharmacy students physiology, neurosciences, pharmacology and neuroanatomy for four years. After completing her PhD, Valerie worked as a post-doc at the Boston Biomedical Research Institute, where her projects focused on discovering the role of a pathway involved in the synthesis of a key lipid, phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate. Valerie joined UW TechTransfer in February 2007 where she manages a portfolio of technologies including all biological materials developed by UW scientists. Valerie loves living and working in the US and even more in Washington state, but goes back to Bordeaux every year to visit family and friends.
