Bio:  
Before joining UW TechTransfer, Chris was at an independent research company focusing on the biotech/healthcare sector for institutional investment groups.  Prior to graduate school, Chris worked at a contract research lab, and was involved with pre-clinical testing of different therapeutics, including a potential HIV vaccine. Her graduate work was in the area of DNA repair in fission yeast. She was attracted to Seattle’s focus on balance in work and life, and enjoys the wide range and easy accessibility of outdoor activities afforded by the mountains and water. Chris also runs, plays soccer and tennis.
