Dennis joined UW TechTransfer in March 2007 after spending two years as a research scientist in the Seattle biotechnology community.  The move to TechTransfer represents a homecoming of sorts as he had two prior stints of UW employment, first as a research technologist as a freshly minted BS graduate of the UW in Molecular and Cellular Biology and then more recently as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics.  In between those two UW experiences he graduated from Stanford University with a PhD in Immunology and was a post doctoral fellow at the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason.  Through 17 years of performing biomedical research at various institutions and in different fields, Dennis endeavors to provide a research scientist perspective to technology transfer, a process which he has experienced in both academic and industry settings.
