Bio:  
Prior to joining the TechTransfer team in 2007, Patrick was a founder of a UW-based cancer diagnostics startup company that studies cancer metastasis. Originally a transplant from the Midwest, he was hired as a project engineer in the aerospace industry, in which he worked for 8 years. In graduate school, Patrick’s work centered on using microfluidics to study biological systems. Postdoctoral work focused on a systems biology approach to studying yeast cell differentiation. Away from work, he spends time with his family and remodeling homes.
