Bio:  
Alan comes to UW TechTransfer from LifeSpan Biosciences, a Seattle company that provides molecular pathology tools and services for biopharma clients. Alan was initially a bioinformatics scientist there and eventually moved into the position of Director of Business Development, where, for more than four years, he honed his skills of business acumen and customer service. Alan lives in Seattle and enjoys the outdoors, fly fishing, propagating and growing native plants, and leading botany hikes on the weekend.
