Express Licenses
Some of the software and tools created at the University of Washington are available through express licenses. These licenses have standard terms and conditions that allow for rapid licensing. The conditions and financial terms of express licenses apply only to those who sign and return them "as is."

Working with Distributors
Some research software and tools distributed by the University of Washington may be obtained through licensed distributors that have been authorized to modify and distribute the software and tools. Authorized distributors may make the materials available under terms different from those from the UW directly. Customized Licenses
We work collaboratively with UW innovators and commercial enterprises to develop customized licenses to meet the goals of the UW research project and the company's business model and channel strength.
