To obtain an add code:

1) Email teclass@u.washington.edu

2) In the subject line state your name, student number and the class you want to get into

3) As an attachment, send an unofficial transcript as PDF.

a. The PDF file must have the prerequisites for your course highlighted (use the PDF highlight feature)

b. The PDF file must have your status highlighted (junior, senior etc)

c. The PDF file must have your UW GPA highlighted

4) The body of the message must contain the following information

a) I meet the prerequisites for course Econ_CourseNumber. I have taken the prerequisites in the following quarters:

b) I am a __________ (provide status year, junior, senior etc)

c) I am graduating __________ (provide earliest possible graduation quarter)

d) My UW GPA is _________

e) Your full NAME and STUDENT NUMBER

Your information will be verified.

If the class is not full, add codes will be mailed out until the class is full

If you do not hear from the instructor, you did not qualify for an add code.
