Take SR-520 EB to I-405 SB exit. Exit At NE 8th and turn right at the light. Continue forward through the first intersection, 112th Ave NE, and turn right at the first driveway. Park in the parking lot to the business offices. Carry your chair and equipment and set up your workstation on the sidewalk of the NE 12th St. To count Northbound traffic sit on the South side of the street. To count the Southbound traffic sit on the North side of the street.
At this site you will be counting the traffic in the HOV lane (lane 4) and the two lanes closest to it (lanes 2 and 3) in both Northbound and Southbound directions.
Wear your safety vest at all times.
From the office enter I-5 Southbound at NE 45th St. After entering I-5 merge to the far left lane and exit at SR 520 Eastbound. Take the I-405 Northbound exit onto I-405. Exit at NE 70th St. Turn left at the light at 116th St NE. Go through the intersection at NE 70th S and proceed to the first driveway on the left just past the pedestrian bridge where the road curves to the right. Use the driveway to turn around and park on the right shoulder of the street just south of the overpass, walk out to the pedestrian bridge and set up your workstations.
Wear your safety vest at all times.
From the office enter I-5 Southbound at NE 45th St. After entering I-5 merge to the far left lane and exit at SR 520 Eastbound. Take the I-405 Northbound exit onto I-405. Exit at NE 160th St. Turn left at the intersection and cross over freeway. Just after crossing the bridge is a Park’n’Ride. Park the car in the Park-n-Ride on the left side of the street. Carry your chair and equipment back to the overpass.
To count Southbound traffic in the morning you will sit on the sidewalk on the left (north) side of the street.
To count Northbound traffic in the afternoon sit on the sidewalk of the right (south) side of the street.
Wear your safety vest at all times.
