The effort includes the development and deployment of a database system, called DARe (Data Access and Reporting), that will be used to collect, manage, store, and report on the use of ORCA cards and accounts. The key problem facing Sound Transit is what reporting capabilities should be built into the DARe database, what technical steps will be required to produce those reports, and what priority should be given to each of those reporting capabilities, both in comparison to other reporting needs and in comparison to overall ORCA functionality. Consequently, this project is helping to identify DARe\u2019s reporting needs, ensure that the required data are collected and stored, describe the steps needed to produce those reports, and prioritize them for their inclusion in the planned DARe deployment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Principal Investigator: Mark E.
