The course, designed for WSDOT engineers, will provide a foundational understanding of the Synchro software. Topics that may be covered include the following:\u00a0 understanding signal timing and programming, including reading a signal timing sheet, ring barrier diagrams, and phasing terminology;\u00a0coding a simple multi-node Synchro network with different control types;\u00a0navigating the user interface; coding\/calibrating\/running\u00a0SimTraffic\u00a0simulations; reading and interpreting Synchro and\u00a0SimTraffic\u00a0reports; and understanding WSDOT Synchro protocols.
