Projects:
As program manager, my duties include
- Contact
for the community, investigators, affiliated faculty and fellows,
and the University of Washington for all matters pertaining to
the Treponema Research Group
- Consulting
and providing technical assistance to investigators on human subjects
compliance, animal care compliance, federal allowance of charges,
and state and local policies and procedures
- Establishing
databases for monitoring and evaluation of existing research programs
- Creating
and maintaining the TprK web database
- Managing
predoctoral and postdoctoral award and trainee support programs
- Responding
to funding agency requests for program evaluation
- Editing
scientific text for grammatical correctness, style, and overall
presentation
- Coordinating
travel for syphilis researchers
