TRIO Training
TRIO TrainingUniversity of Washington TRIO Training is a U.S. Department of Education funded opportunity for TRIO staff. Training is offered under two different training priorities:

  • Priority 1  (record keeping, performance reporting [APR's], and project evaluation)
  • Priority 3 (student needs assessment, proven retention and graduation strategies, and the effective use of educational technology)

Online Training: Participate in online training. Fill out the Online Training Application form to set up an account.


TRIO Quest

TRIO Quest ActivitiesTRIO Quest Activities provide educational opportunities for TRIO staff and students that promote the use of today's technology. To participate, register for a TRIO Quest Account. The first three of these activities are available only to members of the TRIO community:

  • PhotoEssay - Showcases the literary and artistic talent of TRIO students.
  • Media Quest - An audio and video contest for the YouTube generation.
  • TRIO ThinkQuest - A web design competition for teams of pre-college TRIO students.
  • Oracle ThinkQuest International - An opportunity to submit student websites into the International competition.

TRIO Virtual Center

TRIO Virtual CenterThe TRIO Virtual Center provides resources for trainees, tutorials for staff and students, links to useful Web resources for TRIO, education and tech news, and free Data Wizards.
