Student Awards for the Summer 2009 Competitions

TQ09TRIO Quest received an exciting new contribution for these new prizes. Prizes will be awarded in Fall 2009. Note: The award is for each student in the event the activity involves a team of students (maximum students per team is 6).

Best of Contest Awards:
Media Quest: Video (flip) camera plus $100 Farrow Award per student
PhotoEssay: Digital Camera valued at approx $200 value plus $100 Farrow Award
ThinkQuest TRIO: Laptop Computer plus $100 Farrow Award per student

Gold Medal Winners: Digital Camera approx $150 value
Silver Medal Winners: Digital Camera approx $100 value
Bronze Medal Winners: Multi GB Flashdrive

Medals and Certificates
All Semifinalists and Finalists receive medals and certificates. All others receive certificates.

Notification and Verification of Winners: Program contacts and directors of winning entries will be notified via email. In order to receive an award, the program director must provide an address for mailing the prize(s) to the student(s) and must assure in writing that to the best of the director's knowledge, the student or students named in the award completed all the work on the entry.
