2001 TRIO ThinkQuest Finalists
The Department of Education and TRIO ThinkQuest are pleased to announce the TRIO ThinkQuest 2001 Competition Winning Sites. Links are provided below to the Ten Winning Sites. These sites were selected by a highly experienced team of judges, each of whom has no connection to the TRIO community. All of them have judged for the ThinkQuest competition for several years. These judges reviewed 29 semifinalist sites.

Members of the ten winning teams received a copy of Microsoft software. Some winning teams were invited to join TRIO staff in presenting at TRIO meetings during the year. All teams that participated will receive a certificate from the Department of Education.
Congratulations
We extend our congratulations to all of the TRIO Program Directors, staff, and students who elected to participate in the TRIO ThinkQuest Pilot Year Program. Our thanks to the TRIO ThinkQuest Advisory Committee who worked so very hard to plan and implement this competition. We thank the judges who supported this program with their participation. We hope that this experience has been fun and educational for all of you who participated. We look forward to the next TRIO ThinkQuest Competition.
