TRIO Training
University of Washington TRIO Training is a U.S. Department of Education funded opportunity for TRIO staff. Two types of training are offered under two different training priorities.

Trainings
We offer free trainings which are open to all TRIO professionals from all TRIO programs. This section provides a description of our onsite and online trainings. Training is offered under two different priorities:

  • Priority 1: record keeping, performance reporting [APR's], and project evaluation
  • Priority 3: student needs assessment, proven retention and graduation strategies, and the effective use of educational technology.

TRIO Quest

TRIO Quest Activities promote the use of today's technology by TRIO staff and students. These activities are available only to TRIO staff and students.

TRIO Virtual Center

The TRIO Virtual Center provides instructions on how to utilize free Web resources and on how to create materials for the Web. New pages will be added frequently, so check back often! A number of links to news, activities, and resources of interest to the TRIO community are also provided.

Adobe Connect Website for Online Training
Trainees that have registered for the online training will be sent an email with a username and password to log on to our Adobe Connect server.
