PARTNERING

Partners in Tractor Safety – You Can Help Make Farming Safer

Together, we can save the lives of farmers, children, and farm visitors. Start now to spread the word and support farmers in making some simple changes for safer farming operations and equipment.  Just using roll bars and seatbelts together would save up to 130 lives every year.  You can help save a life by taking action now, just like Kristi Ruth does when she delivers her passionate tractor safety speech.  Click here for proven steps you can take to prevent loss of life and livelihood.
Farmers & Families – Protect Your Most Valuable Assets

By making a personal pledge to follow the solutions offered by the Tractor Safety Initiative, you are protecting your children, your family, and your farm. The up-front cost of installing a roll bar on your tractor will more than pay for itself in the peace of mind you will have knowing that your family is safer.  And using a seatbelt, not letting others on the tractor with you, and using the machine guards are all free. Be the first in your community to show how important tractor safety is and use materials from this website to bring others on board.
Dealers & Manufacturers – Serve Your Customers Better by Keeping Them Safe

Make roll bars accessible and available to the farmers you serve. Provide educational materials to your clients.  Train your employees and networks to install roll bars on tractors and encourage their clients to get them installed.

As community and industry leaders, you have the responsibility to set an example for your constituents.  Show that you care about keeping farmers and their families safe in your community.  Use the information on this website to help spread the word about tractor safety.  If you are a farmer, take the pledge and lead by example.
Research & Safety Professionals – Enhance Your Effectiveness

The Tractor Safety Initiative has a wealth of robust research findings, tools, and information that can support your efforts to contribute to the body of knowledge and to get the word out in farming communities across the nation.  Be a part of the effort, stay at the cutting edge of your field, and share research findings with the farming community
