You Can Help

Make A Difference And Help To Shape The Future

The University of Washington is one of the nation's leading research universities. The Tumor Vaccine Group, as one of the more than 90 specialized research centers and institutes at the University of Washington, tackles key cancer research questions and investigates issues that touch all of our lives. The impact of our research is both local and global as we search for ways to improve health care, foster new technologies, and provide students with an education of exceptional value.

The generosity of private donors creates opportunities for teaching, learning, and service that would not otherwise be possible. You are an important partner in keeping the Tumor Vaccine Group at the forefront of translational research and education.

Every day we meet people who are shaping the future. Alumni who once received scholarships help students reach their dreams by providing scholarship support. People whose lives have been saved help others in turn by supporting UW medical research.

How can you personally help to shape the future?

There Are Many Ways To Give To The Tumor Vaccine Group

You can become an active participant in helping us to achieve our mission.

Blood Donation and Study Participation:

To continue our important research, we rely upon blood donations from cancer and non-cancer patients alike. We also depend upon individual participation in clinical trials that we conduct. If you would like more information about these options, please contact Doreen Higgins at 206.616.9538.

Financial Contributions:

In addition to these vital contributions, we rely upon financial contributions both big and small. These financial contributions allow us to fund our ongoing research.

You may designate your gift for a specific purpose, or you may leave your gift unrestricted – to be used where it's needed most.

Gifts can be made in a variety of forms including gifts of cash, securities, and real estate, through planned giving options such as bequests and life income plans, or through in-kind gifts (donations of tangible personal property or equipment). Your financial gift to the Tumor Vaccine Group is tax-deductible. If you would like more information about financial contributions to the Tumor Vaccine Group, please contact Kathy Tietje at 206.221.6871.
