Make A Difference And Help To Shape The Future
The University of Washington is one of the nation's leading research universities. As one of the more than 90 specialized research centers and institutes at the University of Washington, the Tumor Vaccine Group tackles key cancer research questions and investigates issues that touch all of our lives. The impact of our research is both local and global as we search for ways to improve health care, foster new technologies, and provide students with an education of exceptional value.
Every day we meet people who are shaping the future. Alumni who once received scholarships help students reach their dreams by providing scholarship support. People whose lives have been saved help others in turn by supporting UW medical research.
The generosity of private donors creates opportunities for teaching, learning, and service that would not otherwise be possible. You are an important partner in keeping the Tumor Vaccine Group at the forefront of translational research and education.
How can you personally help to shape the future?
There Are Many Ways To Give To The Tumor Vaccine Group
In addition to the vital blood donations and study participation, we rely upon financial contributions of all sizes. These financial contributions allow us to fund our ongoing research.
You may designate your gift for a specific purpose, or you may leave your gift unrestricted – to be used where it's needed most.
Gifts can be made in a variety of forms including gifts of cash, securities, and real estate, through planned giving options such as bequests and life income plans, or through in-kind gifts (donations of tangible personal property or equipment). Your financial gift to the Tumor Vaccine Group is tax-deductible. If you would like more information about financial contributions to the Tumor Vaccine Group, please contact Olena Nyzhnykevych with the UW Medicine Advancement at 206.543.8427.

To continue our important research, we rely upon blood donations from cancer and non-cancer patients alike.
- We are looking for women who have been diagnosed with Breast or Ovarian Cancer in the last five years and who are willing to donate blood for cancer research.
- We are also looking for Colon Cancer Survivors who have been diagnosed in the last five years and who are willing to donate blood for cancer research.
- For individuals who DO NOT have a history of cancer, we are looking for donors to donate leukocytes.
