Your Advising & Orientation is coming up, make sure you are prepared for your session by reviewing the technology instructions page for A&O. Here are a few helpful tips.
A personal computer or tablet with internet access to Google applications, a webcam, and sound are required to fully participate in a remote session. You can reserve a laptop now from the UW.
A notepad and writing utensil will be needed in order to take notes during your session.
View your confirmation email to find your check-in link to be able to access your detailed agenda which will be available at least 24 hours before your A&O session (UW NetID will be required to log in).
First Year Programs will be in touch with you prior to your A&O session. Please save their phone number, text, or call, 206-207-5564 to remain in contact throughout your time at A&O.
Did you know UW is a commuter campus? Most people take public transportation, walk or ride their bike to school. Figure out your options with a customized commute plan.
All students will get a U-PASS which provides for unlimited rides on regional buses, commuter trains, light rail, and water taxis. The U-PASS is part of your Husky Card and will be activated on September 23.
MyPlan is the academic planning tool that you will use to register for classes. While you will not be able to register until A&O, you can explore MyPlan and fall quarter classes now.
