DOG
WALKING
Dogs and their companions are always welcome to walk the gravel paths of UBNA. We only ask that you...
UBNA is a wildlife sanctuary. Unleashed dogs can frighten and sometimes kill wildlife. Your dog may also encounter raccoons, opposums, and skunks which may bite to defend themselves. These mammals have been known to carry rabies. For the health of your dog and our wildlife please respect King County leash laws.
SCOOP YOUR DOG'S POOP
While the wildlife are free to recycle their wastes at UBNA, dog feces can introduce diseases to wild animal populations that can harm the wildlife and possibly be retransmitted back to your dog via wildlife encounters (see above). For the health of your dog and our wildlife please respect King County scoop laws.
EXPLORING UBNA BY FOOT & BIKE
UBNA offers a gravel loop trail connecting with Wahkiakum Lane for your walking, jogging and biking pleasure.
PLEASE RESPECT THE WILDLIFE AND OUR RESTORATION PROJECTS BY STAYING ON THE GRAVEL PATHS
