Biography

Current Project:

I am currently a participant of the Upward Bound Program (A federally funded program designed for deserving college bound students). I have participated in Cleveland High School's cross country team. I practice Tae Kwon-Do and dance for the Kids Society in Boys Girls Club weekly. I work for UPS every evening and go to school every morning.

My favorite web site:

http://www.yahoo.com/Entertainment/Movies_and_Films/Reviews

This web site is very interesting to visit because I like to look at all the movie ratings and upcoming movie previews. There are other interesting sites, but the movie review is my favorite. The graphics are great and I love to read the ratings.

Biography:

I was born in Vietnam, but my nationality is Cambodian. My dad, mom, and two brothers all knew how to speak Vietnamese. I could only speak English and Khmer. I know a little bit of Vietnamese, but it's not enough to speak fluently.

When I was little, I lived in Vietnam. I moved to Cambodia when I was about 6 years old. The reason was because we wanted to come to the United States of America. In Cambodia I did get a chance to come to America. My uncle and aunt sponsored us. My family arrive in the US in 1989.

When I was little my belief was always Buddism. I always go to the temple very time there is a celebration in honoring the Buddha. I believe in him and follow most of his teachings. I do not follow all of his teachings because I don't think it's necessary. One example is being a monk. I don't think, I would like to be one because I believe a monk's daily life is boring. Right now I still believe in Buddha, but it's not as strong. It faded because now I believe more in the teachings of my parents and science textbooks . Though my parents also believe in Buddha, I follow only the rules that I feel are correct. I only believe when I know that it's a fact. I don't like to believe in myths because I don't think it's beneficial. The reason I am saying this is because I never have experienced a miracle.

Interests:

Most of the time I am interested in playing sports. Though I did not join much of my school's sports, I still love to play most of the games. The reason is because of my busy schedule. I know I can practice after school, but my job is in the way.

Some of my favorite sports are soccer, basketball, bowling, swimming, marshal arts, and bicycling. The sports that I play the most are basketball, bowling, and performing marshal arts.
