In Math 2, Katy taught algebra as it's used in daily life. For example, they used equations in slope intercept form to help the students develop their intuition in understanding the mathematical nature of their surroundings. Katy enjoyed the unique solutions of each student and also enjoyed the progress that they made. The students discovered that there is room for common sense when studying math.
