Geometry

Instructor: Debra Reeve

Students will study basic Algebra concepts.  The emphasis of the class will be on graphing and applications of graphing.  The lessons will be taught through interactive lectures.  The students will be working in two algebra workbooks.  The students will be working in groups and will receive a lot of one-on-one help from the instructor and the assistant.

Students will also compare and contrast inductive and deductive reasoning, as well as, research Euclid's fifth postulate as a pivotal point in the non-Euclidean geometry.   They will also work with similarity in triangles, understand the concepts of ratio and proportion, as well as, trigonometric ratios and angles of elevation.
