Basis of Life

Instructor: Mercy Laurino

        In Mercy's class the students studied the origin of life from the "primordial soup" until the formation of the cell. The interactions between organic molecules, organelles, and plasma membrane with the environment was emphasized. The students were looking for the enhancement of critical analysis as data was presented to them.  At the conclusion of the four lectures, the students were expected to have a grasp on how life began and the necessary requirements for life to continue.
