The University of Washington Upward Bound is a federally funded program that helps prepare Nathan Hale and Cleveland students for college. It serves students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and/or from families in which students would be the first generation to complete a four-year college degree.Upward Bound provides direction to improve a student's chances of being accepted and graduating from college. The program offers classes during the school year and during the summer.
