Senior Thank You's

    To every teacher who I had a chance to learn from I just want to say thanks. Special thanks goes to Leny, Donna, and Katy. Also, I want to say thanks to Christina from the UB office for creating my portfolio for my sports articles. Thanks for everything!

    It's that time of the year again for us "Seniors" to say farewell, "for now". I just want to thank Sharon for being such a wonderful teacher. You're so full of energy and livelihood. I'm glad I was put into your LA class because I have learned so much from you. I also know how deviant you can be too. Lastly, I would like to thank all of the staff for being here with us and helping all of us to succeed.

    Many trees have grown from the rich water and soil of the valley. Each with their own color and leaves. They will show the world the richness of the valley through their endurance of other environments. How strong they are because of the nutrients of their land, the valley.

    Thank you to all of the UB staff for believing in me and helping me along my journey to college.  Thank you Leny, Karen, Donna, Sharon, Barry, Byron, Katie, Gigi, Christina, and Chan.  Without this program, I would still be trying to figure out my future.  I hope that as the years go in, you guys will still remember us as students and as friends.  Thank you so very much.  Keep it tight!!!

    Thanks to the main teachers who have helped me the most: Leny, thanks for putting up with me, Sharon, you are a special teacher. Upward Bound is lucky to have you. Also, Katy, I learned a lot from you. If I went to Lindbergh, I'd sign up for any of your math classes. Donna, you're the best. Byron, thanks to you, I got "skills" on the PC. To all the rest of the Upward Bound staff, I love you guys. Science teachers were excellent this year. Karen, thanks for all you've done. Class of 2000 will never forget you.

To : All Upward Bound Staff –

These three summers have been hard, but I’ve finally come to appreciate them. Thanks a whole lot. I’ll miss you guys! To Leny, you’ve been someone hella cool to relate to & thanks for being there.

                Katie – you have the most patience with your students, thanks a WHOLE LOT! You need to                           teach at Cleveland,(seriously).

                To the Science instructors – thanks for putting up with our annoying curiosity questions.

                Conner – I am learning to talk to the water too - it helps! Ha J

                Pamela – I'll make sure to write-out a chart for the points you give next year, or your students will take advantage on 25 points extra credit work.

                Dance teachers – we’re not professionals, but our dance still looks like it was taught by                         professionals.

                Clark & Cynthia – thanks for sharing your experience w/ us. It was like taking us there with                          you guys. Something I’d like to do someday.

                Byron – you’ll always be down here for your genius computer stuff, right? Good, I’ll be back!

To Leny and the rest of the staff. Thank you for accepting me in this program, although I turned my application in like a couple months late. I really appreciate what you have done for me. Leny and Donna, thank you for helping me on my SAT Prep and for helping me try to get into college and stuff. Thanks to Sharon, your the teacher that stuck out to me the most this and last year (besides Torrin). To the new people Marcell and Debra thanks for helping me in math. If I did not mention your name, my fault.

To all Upward Bound Staff. Thank you so much. I appreciate all the help and support you have all given me, especially Leny and Donna. I thank you for all the chances and the push to excel in education. With all the memories we have shared, I will never forget you guys! Much love.

First, I want to thank GOD for making a way for me to have this opportunity. I want to thank my mom for giving me all of the support that I needed to make it. I want to thank all my friends and family, because without the support, it would have been harder. I want to thank all of the UB staff for giving me all the education that I have received over the years. I want to thank Leny for helping me with my college essays and other things that pertain to my college education. I want to thank all of the UB students for being friendly and mature this summer. I want to thank everyone who has ever corrected my wrong-doings, let me know when I was doing something wrong, and all of the people who gave me motivation or had any interest in my future. Last but not least I want to thank my boo Mister for listening to me when I griped and complained. I want to thank my sisters, my best buddies and you know who you are (if you consider yourself as my best buddy) and again I thank GOD for blessing me over and over again. See y’all in the future when I’m a successful lawyer.
