This course is designed to help the development of research, critical writing, thinking and analysis skills. Students will engage in the process of researching a topic, summarizing sources and organizing information. To cap off this proces students will compile their findings into a finished Educational Web Site for presentation. Other skills students will acquire involve basics of writing, revision, citation and working against a deadline. In-class assingments include group exercises, research, reading, writing and a Final Evaluation and presentation of Final Projects. Active participation is required of all students.

The thing that I like most about this class is the computers and the competition. My favorite thing was working on the website. I learned how to summarize. I would tell the incoming students to be ready to work.
