My role models are my parents because they’ve had to sacrifice so much but they’re still energetic and optimistic.

Why did you apply for Upward Bound?

I applied for Upward Bound because it sounded like a great opportunity. My mentorship teacher Ms. Simmons recommended it to me my freshman year.
